Alison Mace

Alison began her nursing career as a student nurse at Castle Vets in 1989. She attended college at Berkshire College of Agriculture and qualified as a veterinary nurse in 1995.

Alison was Head Nurse at the practice from 1995 until 1999 when she started a family. She enjoys surgical nursing, nurse clinics, looking after our hospitalised patients and is interested in canine behaviour.

When Alison is not working at Castle Vets, she can be found grooming and styling dogs at her own grooming parlour as she holds City & Guilds Certificates in Dog Grooming (Level 2) and Canine Stylist (Level 3).

She’s kept busy at home with her family which includes her two Beagles, Alfie and Murray and a Miniature Poodle called Dulcie.
