Dr Lucy Chivers

Lucy joined Castle Vets in 2020 after graduating from the Royal Veterinary College.

She enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine and surgery, with a particular interest in feline medicine. Lucy is Cat Advocate for the practice. She is also Fear Free qualified practitioner.

In her free time, she likes to bake, go for countryside walks with family and keep active with yoga.

Lucy is Fear Free Certified - this means that Lucy has completed a training course and qualification that focuses on emotional wellbeing, enrichment, and the reduction of fear, anxiety and stress in pets to improve the experience for her patients and their owners. Each year Lucy continues further training or studies new research in this area, in order to uphold her certification.
