Gemma joined Castle Vets in February 2021. Gemma qualified as a vet in 2011 and has a keen interest in surgery. Gemma started working at Castle Vets as a locum and worked at many different practices as a locum, but in 2022 Gemma took on the role of Senior Vet at Castle Vets as she loved the amazing team and great facilities that enable her to work up a complicated case. Gemma's favourite patients are dogs and she is partial to a Spaniel, which is probably because she has a Spaniel called Waffle.
In her spare time Gemma enjoys running with her dog Waffle, socialising with friends, scuba diving and skiing.
